1 dead, 1 in custody after daytime shooting outside Pennsylvania Walmart

State police are investigating after a person was fatally shot outside a Pennsylvania Walmart early Monday afternoon.
The shooting took place in Punxsutawney in Young Township, about 80 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers told USA TODAY they responded to the business at about 12:15 p.m. after two unidentified males got into an argument and one shot the other.
Troopers did not release the names or ages of either people involved in the shooting and it was not immediately known what the males argued over.
No other injuries were reported by troopers.

Shooter taken into custody
The suspected shooter was taken into custody, according to a news release, and there was no danger to the public after the arrest.
After the shooting was reported, the Elk Run Volunteer Fire Company posted on Facebook to avoid the area around the business due to heavy police presence.
Walmart says its working with police
USA TODAY has reached out to Walmart.
“The safety of customers and associates is among our top priorities. We will work with law enforcement as they continue their investigation and refer any further questions to the police," a Walmart spokesperson said, according to WJLA-TV.
The borough of Punxsutawney is known for its Groundhog Day celebration held annually on February 2.
